HISTORY OF COMPANY
1933
Founded MARUNAKA TEKKOSHO by the present chairman,Nakataro Marunaka,started producing manufacturing machines for wooden clogs.
1942
Designated by the Department of Royal Navy and started manufacturing aircraft parts.
1945
The plant was burned down by the war damage.
1946
Rebuilt a plant and started producing precision wood working machines.
1948
Established MARUNAKA TEKKOSHO INC.
1963
Increased the capital up to 10 million yen.
1969
Increased the capital up to 20 million yen.
1970
Completed the head office building at the present location.
Developed a super Surface planing machine,resulting in
awarded the Kanto Invention Honor.
1971
Increased the capital up to 30 million yen.
The chairman,Nakataro Mochizuki,was awarded Medal with yellow Ribbon from Science and Technology Agency for a contributed achievement by the invention and development of the super surface planing machine and normal wood working machine.
Built a research plant for enhancing the technology section.
Developed a single slicer for flitch manufacturing plant.
Designated a superior tax reporter corporation from Nagoya Regional Taxation Bureau.
1973
Exported a Know-how of the super surface planing machine to Romania and stated manufacturing on the spot.
1974
Awarded the Kanto Invention Honor for the development of knife grinding machine.
1976
Achieved a mass production record first time in this field by selling as many as 10,000 Royal FX.
Designated a continuation of the superior tax reporter corporation from
Nagoya Regional Taxation Bureau.1978
Achieved a sales record by selling as many as 10,000 Micro Lapper Knife grinding machine.
1979
The chairman,Nakataro Mochizuki,was awarded the Order of the Rising Sun,Gold and Silver Rays for his long-period contribution to the industry world.
Inaugurated Nakataro Mochizuki as a director chairman,and Toshihei Mochizuki, as a representative director.
1981
Started manufacturing Wide Belt Sander.
Designated a continuation of the superior tax reporter corporation from Nagoya Regional Taxation Bureau.
1983
Increased the capital up to 58 million yen.
Started manufacturing an automatic spray machine,Profile Laminator.
Entered into the Chinese market.
Enhanced the share of the veneer slicing plant.
1986
Co-developed a processing machine for bending wood by micro wave heating,with Shizuoka Industry and Technology Center.
Enforced the development of an adhesive machine for veneer,entrusted bay the National Wood Working Machinery Industry Association.
1987
Designated a continuation of the superior tax reporter corporation from Nagoya Regional Taxation Bureau.
1988
Increased the capital up to 80 million yen.
1993
A founder,Nakataro Mochizuki passed away August.
He was given the Sixth Servant Grade from prime minister,Morihiro Hosokawa.
1993
Designated a continuation of the superior tax reporter corporation from Nagoya Regional Taxation Bureau.
January,1993
The patent for the thick-slicing was established in China.
June,1995
The patent for the thick-slicing was established in Europe.

        Thick veneer slicer, SL-135T was awarded as Best Exhibited Product at WOOD-TECH BRNO 1995
        in the Czech Republic.
October,1995
A full-automatic precutting system,"ALIOS"was awarded a superior of the technology in Nagoya Wood Working Machinery Fair (Mokkiten Nagoya).

The patent for the thick-slicing was established in Canada
October,1998
Special machine for pre-cutting "Rafter Beams"; NBC-085A was awarded as a superior technology in the 17th Osaka Woodworking Machinery Fair

November,2000
The Chairman, Toshihei Mochizuki was awarded the BLUE-RIBBON MEDAL by the Government for his long period contribution for Japanese woodwoking machinery industry.
October,2004
UV coating machine; "SIDE-VACUUM COATER, VCS-50T" was awarded a superior technology in the 20th Osaka Woodworking Machinery Fair.
